Request 39: Centrality, 1M DCM-QGSM-SMM Xe+W (T = 2.5 GeV/n, FXT)

I would like to request the following centralised Monte-Carlo production for the purpose of the centrality study (PWG1). This production will rely on GEANT4 to simulate the detector response and use DCM-QGSM-SMM as an event generator for Xe+W collisions at T = 2.5 GeV/n. Requested statistics is 1M events.

The event generator data from the DCM-QGSM-SMM model is stored in the UniGen format here:

The latest MPDROOT version can be used for this production.

The first macro (runMC.C) is modified for FXT run and should be used with EGenerators::UNIGEN and EVMCType::GEANT4 options for 500 events. The second macro (runReco.C) is the standard one for FXT and should also be used for 500 events.

Since the required statistics is rather small (1M events), we don’t require QA data set in advance.

Unfortunately, all resources are currently occupied by production 38. I will be able to launch production no earlier than Tuesday-Wednesday next week. At this time, some resources will be freed up, according to my estimates.
