Request 18: PWG3 - JAM, flow, 10M min.bias AuAu @ 3.0, 3.3, 3.5, 3.8, 4.0, 4.2, 4.5, 5.0 GeV

I would like to request the following centralized Monte-Carlo production for the purpose of anisotropic flow studies. This is an event-generator-only production that uses the JAM model.

The simulation details are the following:

  • Requested statistics per energy and EoS setup: 10M events
  • Colliding system: Au+Au
  • Energy (in the CMS): 3.0, 3.3, 3.5, 3.8, 4.0, 4.2, 4.5 and 5.0 GeV
  • EoS setup: NS1, NS2, MD2, MD3

An example of bash script for the event generation using the JAM model can be generated using the setup.sh script in this repository:

The generated script (JAM/scripts/start.sh) also uses mcini package to convert output JAM data into 2 ROOT formats: mcini and mcpico. Both formats are needed.
The input configuration files for the JAM model for each EoS setup and energy can be found there:

Please, store output ROOT files (both mcini and mcpico formats) at the NICA cluster.
