Request 17: PWG3 - PHQMD, flow, 20M min.bias AuAu @ 2.4, 3.0, 4.5 GeV

I would like to request the following centralized Monte-Carlo production for the purpose of anisotropic flow studies. This is an event-generator-only production that uses the PHQMD model.

The simulation details are the following:

  • Requested statistics per energy and EoS setup: 20M events
  • Colliding system: Au+Au
  • Energy (in the CMS): 2.4, 3.0, and 4.5 GeV
  • EoS setup: hard and soft

Firstly, the test data sets of 500k events are required for the QA tests. After that, the production of the remaining part should be resumed.
The input configuration files for the PHQMD model for each EoS setup and energy are attached below:

AuAu @ 2.4 GeV:

Please, store output ROOT files at NICA cluster.

Each task to generate 250 events takes from 7 to 12 hours, depending on the resource. QA will be finished on the weekend. I asked for an additional 500 cores for this production, the resources should be given from Monday.

Are there root output files? All I see is “.dat” format.

5 million events for each type of eos of energies 2.4 GeV and 3.0 GeV are completed, for 4.5 GeV 1 million events. Further production was stopped at the direction of Akradiy Taranenko
